ATC Foundation

Guided by a volunteer board comprised of community and business leaders, the Aiken Technical College Foundation raises funds from private sources to provide scholarship assistance, instructional equipment, staff and faculty professional development and other needs.

Mission Statement
The Aiken Technical College Foundation will undertake activities to acquire and manage resources that will facilitate the fulfillment of the mission and goals of the College, while strengthening positive community partnerships.
Vision
To be the preferred community non-profit organization of private and corporate donations, which are viewed as an investment in the College and the economic-development of the region.
Goals
  1. Connect with the community to raise awareness of the College by assisting and encouraging partnerships between individuals, business and industry.
     
  2. Generate and provide resources to meet the College's assessed needs and help fulfill its mission.
     
  3. To be recognized as a philanthropic leader in maximizing donor investments, that enhances economic development and quality of life in the region.
Key Accomplishment Areas
The Aiken Technical College Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation organized under South Carolina law and is fiscally and organizationally separate from Aiken Technical College.
Its purpose is to receive private gifts, bequests, and donations, and to account for, manage and help appreciate monies or property submitted to the Foundation. Such donations are totally tax-deductible.
Funds for the Foundation are distributed to benefit and advance Aiken Technical College and for the encouragement and subsidization of students and faculty of Aiken Technical College.
The ATC Foundation Board of Trustees is composed of selected persons who represent positive leadership and community influence, and who have expressed an interest and desire to use their influence on behalf of Aiken Technical College through the ATC Foundation.
The ATC Foundation’s activities and support include, but are not limited to the following key accomplishment areas:
