Computer Game Design Certificate

The Computer Game Design Certificate provides students with the skills to understand and apply computer game design and development concepts. Students are prepared for entry-level employment in game design and related fields. Topics covered include game programming fundamentals, game math and physics, 2D and 3D graphics, and animation.

21 credits are required in the following courses to earn this certificate. Each course earns 3 credits:

• CPT 168 Programming Logic and Design
• CPT 232 C++ Programming I
• CPT 233 C++ Programming II
• CPT 252 Digital Animation
• CPT 269 3D Digital Animation
• CPT 284 ActionScript Programming I
• CPT 288 Computer Game Development I
