Pre-Health Academy
The Pre-Health Academy is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career or advanced education in a health related occupation. Courses are selected based on pre-requisites for health science programs at Aiken Technical College as well as those transferrable to other four-year institutions. The course sequence provides students with a broad exposure to the various health science programs. Upon successful completion of this Certificate program, students will be ready to apply for admissions into health science courses or to transfer to other colleges/universities.
Admission Criteria
Students must have a minimum PSAT score of 50 in verbal and 50 in math – or equivalent scores on the high school ACT or SAT, or on placement test(s) given by ATC Counseling Services.
