How to begin

Becoming a student at ATC is a simple process. Simply fill out an application form and mail it in to the Admissions and Records Office at ATC/PO Box 400/Graniteville, S.C. 29829.
  1. See the Steps to Enrollment for a summary on becoming a student.

  2. Arrange to have your official high school transcripts sent to ATC, along with any official college transcripts, transfer credits or placement testings you may have.

  3. Send ATC your SAT or ACT scores so we know where to place you. If you haven’t taken them, call the Counseling Services Office at (803) 593-9231, ext. 1298 and arrange to take the ATC placement test.

  4. Contact the Financial Aid Office at (803) 593-9231, ext. 1241 to start the application process for grants, scholarships, loans and work programs.

  5. Make an appointment with your advisor and get registered.

  6. Don’t forget to pay your tuition by cash, check, Visa or Mastercard.
Lastly, get your parking decal and student ID for free during centralized registration or during the first week of class.
