Meet with an advisor in the Enrollment Services Center (room 152) for orientation/advisement, MyATC Portal training
Register for classes using MyATC Portal

Pay for tuition
(via Cash/Credit Card,

Go to bookstore for books/parking sticker/picture ID
Attend classes

Request official college transcript(s) to be sent directly to admissions from former institutions for transfer of credit evaluation

Submit transient form to the Enrollment Services Center specifying courses to be taken at ATC
Someone from the Enrollment Services Center will register you and contact you via email.

Pay for tuition (Cash/Credit Card, Deferred Tuition Payment Plan)
Go to bookstore for books/parking sticker/picture ID
Attend classes
After completing courses at ATC, request official transcripts be sent to primary college
Attend classes
Veterans Affairs
Apply and get accepted into the College.
Apply for the GI Bill one of two ways:
Online at
www.gibill.va.gov
through VONAPP.
Complete the paper application VA Form 22-1990 (Veteran) or VA Form 22-5490 (wife/dependents).
Submit official college transcripts and military transcripts if applicable for evaluation.
Read VA Application Packet, sign, date and return the Agreement and Intake forms to ATC Admissions Office.
Register for classes, pay tuition and fees by the due date.
Complete the pink Enrollment Form in Admissions to get VA Education Benefits started.
Submit Attendance Verification forms to Admissions by the due date to avoid interruption or termination of benefits. (For all chapters receiving VA benefits).
Verify attendance with the VA at 1 (877) 823-2378 or online by going to the VA website at
www.gibill.va.gov
. (Chapters 30, 1606, 1607 only).
Notify the VA Coordinator of any changes such as but not limited to:
Withdrawal from a class(es)
Program change
Increase or decrease in hours/credits
Withdrawal from school
Address/Telephone change

Aiken Technical College has an open-door admission policy. This means the college admits all adult citizens who can benefit from available learning opportunities.
In order to enroll at ATC, applicants:
Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must participate in placement testing prior to acceptance.
Applicants who require additional preparation for college-level work must enroll in developmental courses to develop the necessary basic skills in English, reading and mathematics.
The college reserves the right to refuse readmission to any applicant who has an unacceptable academic or conduct record. Individuals with financial obligations to the college must resolve these obligations before they will be allowed to register for classes.
Individual programs may have additional admission requirements. Information on such requirements may be obtained from the Enrollment Services Center or a program advisor. See also
