Ladies' Fast-Pitch Softball Coaches

Mitch Smith Position: Head Coach Experience: 1st Year

ATC welcomed Mitch Smith, a former softball coach for USC-Salkehatchie, as the new head coach of the Lady Knights softball team in 2010. As a South Carolina native, Smith knows what it takes to coach a successful team in the area.

At USC-Aiken Mitch was an assistant softball coach for four years. He graduated from there in May 2004. He then moved to Louisburg College in Louisburg, N.C., to help coach softball there. Nine months later he went to USC-Salkehatchie to start their softball and women’s soccer programs. After a successful four years there, he came to ATC June 9, 2010.
