Our Mission

The mission of the Aiken Technical College Library is to support and enhance instruction, teach information-seeking skills, and provide information access for students, faculty, staff and the community.

Equipment

Copy Machine - the Library maintains a copy machine that students may use for 10 cents per page.
Microfiche Reader/Printer - the Library maintains a microfiche reader/printer that students may use for 10 cents per page.
Audiovisual/Study Rooms - the library has two rooms equipped for audiovisual viewing by individuals or small groups.
Computer Labs - the library has two full-service computer labs.

Borrowing Information

Students, faculty and staff will need an ATC ID to check out materials. The ID must be updated by the Library every semester. The chart below shows checkout times for various items as well as fines for overdue books and videos.

Circulating Books	2 weeks; limit 10 books
CD-ROMs	2 weeks
Reference	In-house use
Videocassettes - Non Circulating	2 hours; in-house use
Videocassettes - Circulating	2 days; limit 3 videos
Reserves	2 hours; in-house use
Periodicals and Newspapers	In-house use
Overdue Book Fines	25 cents per day, per book
Lost Book Fines	Replacement cost plus $20 processing fee
Overdue Video Fines	$1 per day, per video

Other Area Libraries

ATC students, faculty and staff also have borrowing privileges at the University of South Carolina Aiken Library. An updated ATC ID must be presented there at the time of checkout.
