ATC Knights Sign Two Strong
For Next Basketball Season
Thursday, April 15, 2010

The Aiken Technical College Knights have announced two key signings for the 2010-11 men’s basketball squad. Both men hail from the Augusta area, and were standouts in high school.

Blake Bush, a 2009 graduate of Hephzibah High School, will fill a guard/forward position. “Blake is a tough kid who plays defense well and just plays hard overall. He spent a year in prep school and I feel he’s ready to make a difference on our team,” said head coach Bruce Capers.  Bush is a 6’5”, 215-lb player who was named to the 2009 first team all-region AAA squad.

Dorian Sabb, a 2010 Lucy Laney High School graduate, will step in to fill a critical need at point guard. “Dorian is a good student who will work hard and bring leadership to our team,” according to Capers. He continued, “I like to recruit as many local players as possible and Dorian will make a seamless transition as he already an ATC student.”

The Aiken Technical College Knights play in Division 1 of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
