Kelvin Cruse Joins Knights Wednesday, May 09, 2012 Kelvin Cruse was a two-year starter for the varsity basketball team at Richland Northeast High School. Kelvin excelled on the court for the Cavaliers, playing on two very competitive teams. In both of his seasons at Richland Northeast, Kelvin helped lead the Cavaliers to the 2nd round of the 4-A State Playoffs.   This past season, Kelvin was named to the All-Region team and led the Cavaliers in blocks at 3.2 blocks per game. The Cavaliers finished the season at 21-5. According to Coach Capers, "Kelvin, an athletic 6'8" signee, will add a strong inside presence with his rebounding and shot blocking ability."   Kelvin Cruse’s stats from 2011-12: FG% 49.1; FT% 61.1; PPG 7.7; RPG 4.3; BPG 3.2   Kelvin Cruse was a two-year starter for the varsity basketball team at Richland Northeast High School. Knights Sign Caldwell Thursday, April 26, 2012 The ATC Knights signed Keenan Caldwell, a 6'4" guard/forward from Clinton High School in Clinton, SC.   Keenan paced Clinton High School by averaging 14.7 points per game, 6.2 assists, and 5.7 rebounds.   Head Coach Bruce Capers commented, "I am very impressed with Keenan's overall athletic ability, versatility, and toughness."   The ATC Knights signed Keenan Caldwell, a 6'4" guard/forward from Clinton High School in Clinton, SC. ... more

Knights Sign ESPN.com 7th Ranked Player in SC Thursday, April 19, 2012 The Knights recruiting is off to a great start by signing Brandon Jones of Wilson High School in Florence, SC. Jones, a 6'6" shooting guard, averaged 16.3 points and 8.5 rebounds as a senior. Brandon was recognized as a 2010-11 and 2011-12 All Region player, a 2011-12 All-State player, and was the 2011-12 Florence Morning News Preseason Player of the Year. In addition to those honors Brandon Jones is the 7th ranked player in SC on ESPN.com.    According to Head Coach Bruce Capers, "We are excited about Brandon joining the Knights family. Knights Ready for Region 10 Tournament Monday, March 05, 2012 The Knights finished fourth in NJCAA Region 10. Brackets have been finalized for the Region 10 tournament to be held March 8 through March 10 at Spartanburg Methodist College. The tournament schedule is below. Thursday, March 8 1:00 p.m.  (#6) Brunswick CC vs. (#3) USC-Salkehatchie 3:00 p.m.   (#7) USC-Sumter vs. (#2) Clinton Junior College 5:30 p.m.  (#5) Cape Fear CC vs. (#4) Aiken Technical College 7:30 p.m.  (#8) Denmark Technical College vs. (#1) Spartanburg Methodist College Friday, March 9 5:00 p.m.  Game 1 and 2 Winner 7:00 p.m.  Game 3 and 4 Winner Saturday, March 10 2:30 p.m.  Championship The Knights finished fourth in NJCAA Region 10.
