Aiken Technical College Human Resources and Employment Overview
Welcome to the office of Human Resources at Aiken Technical College. The ATC Human Resources Office serves the interest of ATC employees and prospective employees. Human Resources is responsible for employee recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, orientation, employee benefits, professional development, and employee relations. We are dedicated to administering all human resource programs in a fair and consistent manner. We are located in Suite 126 on the lower level of the Ashley Little Administration Building (Bldg. 100). Our hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Aiken Technical College employs a comprehensive selection process for full-time positions. The selection process for full-time positions usually consists of two interviews. For full-time faculty positions and positions reporting directly to an Executive Staff member, three interviews are required. The first interview is with a committee comprised of employees from throughout the college. Candidates selected for a second interview will generally interview with the respective Dean and/or Vice President of the area they will be working in. Candidates recommended for a third interview will interview with the college President.
The selection process for part-time positions is not as comprehensive as that for full-time positions and generally requires one interview.
