SALARY RANGE: $24 - $30 per hour
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time, Monday-Friday

Responsible for instructing in the Associate Degree Nursing Program as well as the Practical Nursing Program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.
• Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabi for course taught.
• Ensure that course is taught in accordance with the established syllabi.
• Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course.
• Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned course.
• Supervision of students.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as three (3) years of recent nursing practice and two (2) years clinical experience in medical surgical nursing, obstetrics nursing, pediatric nursing, or long term care experience required. Master's degree in Nursing will be required for applicants teaching transferable courses. Current license to practice as a registered nurse required; South Carolina and Georgia nursing license will be required upon employment. Experienced nurses in pediatric, obstetrics, and medical surgical nursing are also preferred.
