Meet Our Faculty

Dr. Alice M. Frye: Dean of Health Sciences; ATC has a new Dean of Health Sciences. Dr. Alice M. Frye brings more than 30 years of experience in healthcare and educational administration to her management of the College’s radiologic technology, surgical technology, medical coding, medical assisting, dental assisting and associate degree in nursing programs.; Dr. Frye holds a Doctor of Education Degree from the University of Georgia. Before beginning her duties as dean, she served as an adjunct nursing instructor at ATC. Earlier still, she served as Vice President of Instructional/Student Services at Augusta Technical College, where she was responsible for the management of more than 100 programs in five divisions.; “There has never been a more important time for nursing and allied health professions as we practice in a rapidly changing healthcare environment,” Dr. Frye said. “The demand for healthcare professionals is growing as our population ages and technology becomes more complex. I am excited to be the Dean of Health Sciences at Aiken Technical College to address the needs of the healthcare employers, the academic standards for health professions students, and the responsibility to continue expansion in the health sciences division.”
