2018 Human and Civil Rights Champion Award Nominations

The 2018 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Celebration committee is accepting nominations for its inaugural Human and Civil Rights Champion Awards. The awards will recognize one community member or organization, one student from each Aiken Technical College and USC Aiken for their works in the area of human and civil rights.

Please see the below documents for criteria, nomination procedures, and the nomination form.

Nominations must be received and/or postmarked by 5 p.m. Friday, December 8. All nominees will be contacted and invited to the Friday, January 19 gala event and winners will be invited to attend the 2018 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Celebration on Sunday, January 21.

ATC Foundation to Host Second Annual Giving Gala Fundraising Event

The Aiken Technical College Foundation will host its second annual Giving Gala on Friday, October 5 at The Reserve Club at Woodside Plantation.

This year’s theme is Havana Nights with entertainment by West End Mambo, a six-piece band that plays a variety of classic salsa and Latin jazz.
