ATC Career Services to Offer Career Exploration Workshops

(March 13, 2017, Aiken, SC)— With so many career options available, deciding which one is best for you can be daunting. Aiken Technical College’s Career Services department hopes to help area residents in that process through its Career Exploration workshops.

Workshops will be held March 16, April 27 and May 18 at 6:15 p.m. in the Enrollment Services Center (100 building). The workshops are free for prospective and current ATC students.

The purpose of the workshops is to help attendees decide on a career path that fits their individual personality, interests and values, said Kathryn Fowler, ATC’s Director of Career Services.

During each workshop, attendees will receive the results of their inventories and have access to a list of potential careers that relate to their results. Guidance will also be provided on the decision making process and academic programs that can help them achieve their goal.

Those interested in participating in a workshop should contact Kathryn Fowler at (803) 508-7381 or fowlerkf@atc.edu to reserve a seat.
