ATC Radiologic Technology Graduates Achieve 100 Percent Pass Rate
Aiken Technical College’s radiologic technology 2017 graduates have achieved a 100 percent pass rate on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification Exam with all graduates passing the exam on the first attempt.
“The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requires anyone pursuing a career as a radiologic technologist to have completed an educational, ethical, and lastly, an examination component of the subject matter,” said Mamie McRavin, radiologic technology program coordinator.
Students take the exam shortly after graduation. Throughout the program, students are prepared by being instructed in both classroom and clinical settings to ensure understanding and ability to apply material learned. They also participate in a mock exam.
“Passing the ARRT Radiography Certification Exam presents a title to be proud of,” said McRavin. “It also unlocks the door to a world of opportunity within the healthcare industry for the graduates.”
Graduates passing the exam and contributing the 100 percent pass rate: Amanda Barton, Laura Glover, Kylene Hill, Arthur King, Lindsay McNeely, and Leah Preston.
