ATC to Induct New Members into Academic Honor Society

Aiken Technical College will host an induction ceremony for its Alpha Xi Lambda Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society on Thursday, October 26 at 7 p.m. in the amphitheater (700 building).

The keynote speaker for the event will be Dr. Paul Leslie, an ATC psychology instructor.

Phi Theta Kappa provides its members with leadership and service opportunities. Membership is by invitation-only. To be invited to join, students must have a 3.5 GPA or higher and have completed at least 12 credit hours of coursework.

Refreshments will be served immediately following the ceremony. The ceremony is open to the public.

Aiken Technical College has collaborated with Savannah River Nuclear Solutions to offer a free resume writing and interviewing workshop in advance of the College’s annual Career Fair.

The resume writing and interviewing workshop will be held Tuesday, April 2 from 1-3 p.m. in the amphitheater (700 building).

Aiken Technical College will host a Real Talk 101: College Prep Seminar for area high school juniors and seniors on Saturday, March 30 from noon to 2 p.m. in the College’s amphitheater (700 building). The event is free, but registration is required.
