Bench to Bedside Seminar: Financial Incentives for Service to the Underserved

Aiken Technical College will host seminars as part of its participation in the Bench to Bedside program, coordinated by the South Carolina Area Health Education Consortium (SCAHEC).

Join us April 17 from 5 to 6 p.m. for a seminar on the financial incentives for service to the underserved. The presenters will be Kristin Cochran, director of recruitment and retention programs with SC AHEC, and Jessica Seel, program manager with the South Carolina Office of Rural Health.

The seminar will be held in Room 1016 (1000 Building).

Aiken Technical College and Savannah River Nuclear Solutions Partner to Offer Free Resume Writing Workshop

Aiken Technical College has collaborated with Savannah River Nuclear Solutions to offer a free resume writing and interviewing workshop in advance of the College’s annual Career Fair.

Hospital Auxiliary Continues to Support ATC Foundation, Student Scholarships

Members of the Hospital Auxiliary of Aiken County, Inc. recently presented a donation to the Aiken Technical College Foundation to help fund four scholarships to students enrolled in health sciences programs.

Aiken Technical College will host an Earth Day Sustainability Expo on Wednesday, April 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Activities Center gymnasium. The event is free and open to the public.

Leader of CSRA Alliance for Fort Gordon to be 2019 Commencement Speaker

Aiken Technical College will have its 2019 Commencement ceremony on Tuesday, May 7 at 7 p.m. at the USC Aiken Convocation Center, 2049 Champion Way, Graniteville.

Dr. Thomas J. Clark, executive director of the CSRA Alliance for Fort Gordon, will be the keynote speaker for the ceremony. As the executive director, he promotes and advocates for the Fort Gordon Cyber District and encourages support of cyber opportunities in the local region.
