Federal Work Study

Some part-time jobs for students are supported through the federal financial aid program known as federal work-study. Only Aiken Technical College students interested in Work-Study opportunities should complete an application. Please visit the MyATC Portal under the Finances - Student Employment section to view current federal work study open positions. A Federal Work Study Award must be made by the Aiken Technical College Financial Aid Office and the financial aid award letter must be presented in order to verify eligibility before a student can seek employment as a Federal Work Study Student.

Student Tutors

Tutors provide academic support to students seeking assistance and guidance in subjects such as math, English, biology, computer technology, and program-specific courses. Tutors are located within the College’s Academic Success Center and may also be embedded in select courses. Those interested in a tutor position must have at least a 3.0 grade point average in the subject matter. Those interested in a tutor position are required to apply online.
