Overview

The Machine Tool Technology Pre-Apprenticeship certificate combines classroom and shop instruction with hands-on experiences. Students will learn machine shop skills such as workplace safety, housekeeping, basic blueprint reading, precision measuring, basic fundamentals of conventional machining and CNC operations. This certificate is offered in a single semester and is designed for students seeking entry-level employment in the metal- working industry.
