Assistance for Students in Need

Student Emergency Fund
The Student Emergency Fund assists students who may have a short-term, unexpected financial need that may impact their ability to continue their education.
The Student Emergency Fund has limited availability of funds. Eligible students may be awarded up to $400 in emergency funds, once per academic year. The following needs will be considered for funding:
- Childcare
- Food
- Housing
- Non-elective medical expenses
- Utilities
- Technology
- Transportation
Other needs will be considered as deemed appropriate and necessary to help the student to continue their education at Aiken Technical College
Eligibility criteria:
- Must be currently enrolled in at least six credit hours at ATC
- Must have at least a 2.0 GPA
Students can request assistance by completing the Student Emergency Fund Form on the MyATC Portal.
