Technical Scholars
Technical Scholars is a two- to three-year program that allows students to earn an associate degree from Aiken Technical College while working with a local employer.
Students attend classes full-time and work 15–20 hours per week in their field. Participating employers help cover tuition and books after financial aid is applied, and students earn from $14 to $20 per hour, with opportunities for pay increases based on performance.
Through Technical Scholars, you can:
- Earn your degree while gaining real work experience
- Reduce or eliminate the cost of tuition and books
- Earn income while enrolled full time
- Build experience with a local employer in your field
- Strengthen your path to employment after graduation
