2020 Sustainability Expo

The ATC Green team will host its second annual Sustainability Expo on March 11, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Student Activities Center gymnasium (900 building). The event is free and open to the public.

 

 

Schedule:

  • 9 a.m.: Exhibits Open
  • 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Speaker Panel
  • 11:30 a.m.: Lunch (free, first-come, first-serve)
  • 1-1:30 p.m.: Prize drawings and conclusion

The speaker panel will include:

  • Tonya Bonitatibus, Savannah Riverkeeper
  • John Carman, City of Aiken Energy and Environment Committee
  • Blair Cogburn, Green Energy Biofuel
  • Alexandra Miller, SC Department of Health and Environmental Control
  • George Montgomery, Aiken Master Gardener Association
  • Esther Wagner, Palmetto Pride

Exhibitors will include local employers, environmental groups, government agencies, and merchants. There will be free samples, products for sale, and prizes. List of exhibitors (as of March 3):

Per South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster’s announcement today, the College will suspend all face-to-face class meetings from March 16 through March 31, including clinicals and labs. Online classes will continue as scheduled.
