ATC welcomes veterans, active-duty service members, and military family members of the United States Armed Forces. We have a support structure in place to assist men and women who have served in the U.S. military and their family members with applying for their education benefits and certification of enrollment. Other services offered include assistance with admissions, applying for financial aid, academic advisement and counseling. To receive VA Education benefits, you must apply online through the Department of Veterans Affairs. Because you may be eligible for more than one benefit, programs are explained here and a Comparison Tool is also available.

Bridge the Gap Sponsorship Criteria and Application
The Bridge the Gap Scholarship provides military veteran students with funds to support their education goals while attending Aiken Technical College. Applications are available each year in late fall. Awards range between $500 to $2,500 and is a separate scholarship from the ATC Foundation scholarships. You are encouraged to apply for ATC scholarships also.

Fluor Cost of Living Expense Grant
This grant is need-based and is awarded to military veterans and active-duty service members to assist with the cost of attending school and living expenses. The College will award on an as-needed basis to qualified and selected applicants while funds are available. The Deadline September 7, so apply today!
