Aiken Technical College Employees Recognized at Annual State Conference

(May 19, 2015, Aiken, SC) Three Aiken Technical College faculty and staff members were named Educator of the Year at the state-wide South Carolina Technical Education Association (SCTEA) conference in February.
This year’s Educator of the Year recipients were respectively Dr. Vinson Burdette, dean of Enrollment Services; Joy Colley, biology instructor and Crystal Ratliff, teaching & learning excellence administrative assistant. All award winners were voted on by a group of their peers within the Association, and were recognized with a plaque and cash award of $100 at the Annual SCTEA Conference in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The SCTEA is a professional association of technical education personnel and others interested in postsecondary technical education and annually recognizes outstanding service and achievement in the categories of administrator, faculty member and staff member. The purpose of SCTEA is to further the mission of the South Carolina Technical College System and the welfare of its members.
