(May 23, 2016, Aiken, SC) Midland Valley High School students will soon be able to get an early start in their college education thanks to a new program partnership between Aiken Technical College (ATC) and the Aiken County Public School District (ACPSD).
The new Midland Valley High School Early College program, scheduled to launch this summer, will provide high school students an opportunity to begin taking college courses as sophomores with the goal to earn an Associate in Arts degree from Aiken Technical College by the time the student graduates from high school.
Representatives from Aiken Technical College, Aiken County Public School District and Midland Valley High School will host a press conference to announce details of this new program and how it will help students meet their educational goals.
An orientation for Early College program participants and their families will follow the press conference.
