Continuing Education: Basic Motorcycle Rider Course

This course is designed for individuals with little to no riding experience, and it teaches the basic techniques of riding a motorcycle. Bikes provided. (20 hours)

Note: Students successfully completing the Basic Rider Course qualify for a South Carolina motorcycle license waiver. License waiver valid in South Carolina only.

Ride safely! Our instructors are certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. For more information visit SC Rider online at www.scridered.org.

*Prerequisite: Must be eligible for a motorcycle driver’s license (minimum age: 15 years) and must be able to ride a bicycle.

Courses are held on the following days, meeting in room 1200: May 13-15 (Friday 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. & Sat./Sun. 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.)

The cost for this course is $350.
