Continuing Education: Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)/ Tungsten Inert Gas Welding Course
Build on your basic welding skills and knowledge with this course on Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), also known as Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding. TIG welding is an arc welding process that uses a tungsten electrode to produce the weld.
The course will be held September 24-November 26 with class meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 10 p.m. The cost of the course is $849.
The course will include both classroom and lab time and will cover topics such as introduction to TIG welding, lab safety, practical experiences to hone your skills.
Students will be required to wear cotton long-sleeve shirts, long pants, and leather boots.
