Continuing Education: South Carolina Manufacturing Certification Course

SC Manufacturing Certification is an entry-level advanced manufacturing certification program. The program consists of 160 hours of state-funded training in the following areas:

• Safety
• Quality Practices & Measurement
• Manufacturing Processes & Production
• Maintenance Awareness.

Additional certifications awarded upon successful completion:

• OSHA 10
• Yellow Belt Lean Training
• Snap-on Tools
• ManuFirstSC

The course will be offered September 25 through December 7, meeting Monday through Thursday from 5:30-9:30 p.m. The course is free for South Carolina residents and $2,500 for out-of-state residents.

Participants must be at least 18 years old, have at least a high school diploma or GED, and be committed to completing the program.
