Continuing Education: TIG Welding
Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), also known as Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, is an arc welding process that uses a tungsten electrode to produce the weld. Build on your basic welding skills and knowledge with this course on TIG welding.
This course includes an intro to TIG welding, lab safety and practical hands-on demonstration and practice to hone your skills. (75 hours)
The course will be held October 6, 2020 through February 4, 2021 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in room 1722. The cost for this course is $849.
Note: Cotton long sleeve shirt, long pants, and leather boots are required.
PREREQUISITE: MIG. Obtain documentation and notify TBDD.
