Fall 2024 School of Nursing Pinning Ceremony

Aiken Technical College’s School of Nursing will celebrate one of its largest cohorts during the fall pinning ceremony on Monday, December 9. The ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. in the Student Activities Center (Building B) gymnasium.

Graduates of the following programs will be recognized: Associate in Applied Science: Nursing; Diploma in Applied Science: Nursing; and Patient Care Technician Certificate. More than 60 students are expected to be pinned during the ceremony.

The graduates will recite the Florence Nightingale pledge and receive a pin signifying their commitment to serving others during the ceremony. Recipients of the valedictorian, salutatorian, and Tradition of Caring Award honors will also be announced.

Aiken Technical College and Rolls-Royce Power Systems have collaborated to create a new pre-apprenticeship program that will enable students to earn a National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Certification and have the opportunity to be considered for employment with Rolls-Royce.
