Hospital Executive Named to Aiken Technical College Governing Board

New Commission Member Justin Krueger

(June 1, 2015, Aiken, SC) An Aiken Regional Medical Centers (ARMC) executive has been appointed to the Aiken County Commission for Technical and Comprehensive Education.

ARMC’s Chief Operating Officer Justin R. Krueger is the newest member of the group which governs Aiken Technical College.

“I am tremendously honored to have been appointed to the Commission and am looking forward to working alongside my fellow Commissioners, Dr. Winsor, and the faculty and students to carry forth Aiken Technical College’s longstanding tradition of excellence in higher education within Aiken County,” said Krueger.

The Florida native has held executive leadership roles at healthcare facilities throughout the southeast. Prior to coming to Aiken, Krueger served as the Chief Operating Officer at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon, Miss., Chief Operating Officer of Lehigh Regional Medical Center in Lehigh Acres, Fla., and assistant administrator of Charlotte Regional Medical Centers in Punta Gorda, Fla.

Krueger and his wife of six years, Courtney, have a 2-year-old daughter, Olivia.

Dynamic Dialogues Guest Lecture: Graniteville Train Wreck & Chlorine Disaster

Aiken Technical College will host a presentation entitled “The Graniteville Train Wreck and Chlorine Disaster: The Continuing Road to Recovery” on Wednesday, March 6, as part of its Dynamic Dialogues guest lecture series.

The event will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the College’s amphitheater (700 Building). The event is free and open to the public.
