Local entrepreneur appointed to Aiken Technical College's governing board

Norman Dunagan, a local entrepreneur and investor, has been appointed to the Aiken County Commission for Technical and Comprehensive Education, the governing board for Aiken Technical College.

Dunagan has founded multiple ventures across the agriculture, hospitality, real estate, and technology industries. His portfolio includes Dumpster Depot, Whiskey Alley, Prime Steakhouse, Turkey Creek Cattle Company, and various real estate investments.

In addition to his business ventures, Dunagan mentors aspiring entrepreneurs, delivers leadership training to restaurant teams, and supports financial education initiatives for underserved communities.

Before transitioning into entrepreneurship, Dunagan held a management career at Frito-Lay.

Commission members are appointed through the State of South Carolina’s Office of the Governor and serve in four-year terms.
