MLK Day of Service

Join Aiken Technical College and the University of South Carolina Aiken for our MLK Day of Service on Friday, January 24.

This event is for USC Aiken and Aiken Tech students, faculty and staff, along with all Aiken community members. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once asked, “What are you doing for others?”—and this day is a wonderful chance to answer that question by giving back to our community.

This year, we are proud to partner with:

  • ACTS of Aiken

  • Aiken Animal Shelter

  • Helping Hands of Aiken

  • The Salvation Army

When you register, you’ll be assigned to one of these incredible organizations, where you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. After registering, you’ll receive all the details you need, including your assigned organization, specific tasks, dress code, and location. Plus, all participants will receive community service hours for their time and dedication.
