ATC to Host Pinning Ceremonies for Health Science Programs
Aiken Technical College will host two pinning ceremonies to recognize and honor those who have completed health science programs during the Summer 2017 term.
The nursing pinning ceremony will be held Wednesday, August 2 at 3 p.m. in the amphitheater (700 building) to honor those completing the practical nursing program. The cohort’s valedictorian, salutatorian and Tradition of Caring Award recipient will be recognized.
The allied health pinning ceremony will be held Thursday, August 3 at 3 p.m. in the Student Activities Center gymnasium (900 building). Students from the following programs will be honored: emergency medical technician: basic; expanded duty dental assisting; medical assisting; patient care assisting; pharmacy technician; and surgical technology.
The guest speaker for the allied health pinning ceremony is Dr. Forest Mahan, ATC president.
Receptions will be held after each ceremony. Both events are open to the public.
