Aiken Technical College offers one online degree-Associate in Arts. The Associate in Arts degree is tailored for those planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree to complete core requirements toward a 4-year degree.The College has partnerships with many four-year colleges and universities. Aiken Technical College offers a number of online courses options for those interested in taking a few courses or to use online resources to supplement their in-person classes. These options include completely online courses, hybrid courses (includes both in-person and online instruction), and web-enhanced courses that are mostly in-person courses that also use technologies such as Blackboard.

State Authorization for Distance Learning Programs and Students 

All states in the U.S. require post-secondary educational institutions to be legally authorized to provide post-secondary educational instruction in their states. Many of these state laws and regulations also apply to online, distance and correspondence educational instruction offered in that state. As such, Aiken Technical College and its distance learning program must be authorized in certain states prior to offering those courses or programs to students residing in those states. The purpose of this policy is to create a process for complying with any state authorization requirements applicable to Aiken Technical College’s distance learning program. ATC participates in the SREB SECRRA reciprocity agreement and can offer classes to students in the member states of SREB. If you reside in one of the following states, you may register for classes with ATC. If you reside in a state not listed below, you may not register for classes at ATC at this time.
