Aiken Technical College held its annual Awards Night Ceremony on Thursday, April 18. The event recognized students for their leadership roles, service efforts, and academic achievements.
As a senior in high school, Joe Deskevich enrolled in the CompTIA Security+ certification course offered by Aiken Technical College’s (ATC) Continuing Education (non-credit) division. Despite being the youngest among his peers, Joe embraced the challenge with unwavering determination. The transition from self-learning to structured education was invigorating, with an instructor guiding him through the complexities of cyber defense.
The Aiken County Commission for Technical and Comprehensive Education monthly scheduled meeting for April 8, 2024 is canceled. The next scheduled Commission meeting is May 13, 2024.
Aiken Technical College has announced Dr. Ronald L. Rhames, president of Midlands Technical College, will be the keynote speaker for the 2024 Commencement Ceremony. The ceremony will be on Tuesday, April 30, at 7 p.m. at the University of South Carolina Aiken Convocation Center, 2049 Champion Way, Graniteville.
