The Grant Writing course encourages is designed to provide an understanding of the fundamental and competitive components of a grant proposal, while developing strategies used to identify potential funding sources. In this course, attendees will learn how to organize grant writing campaigns, raise needed funds, and read and understand grant guidelines.
Review road rules and how to practice safe driving in our Defensive Driving course. The course will be held July 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The course cost is $95.
The Fiber Optic Technician course is a two-week course designed to train participants to become fully certified in fiber installation, maintenance, and support. This course provides the basic foundation needed to successfully earn three nationally recognized fiber optic certifications essential for success.
The Certified Tower Technician course prepares students for entry-level wireless tower technician level one positions.
Aiken Technical College, in collaboration with its bookstore operations partner, Textbook Brokers, is launching a new program to help students save money on textbooks. The Ready for Success program will begin with the Fall 2023 semester, which starts August 21.
The OSHA-10 training course provides entry-level general industry workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent job-related hazards on a job site.
The forklift operator course includes hands-on operation of the forklift, regulatory overviews, engineering principles, operator responsibilities, safety operating rules, and maintenance and inspections.
The Aiken County Commission for Technical and Comprehensive Education will have its monthly meeting on Monday, June 12 at 5:15 p.m.
