Aiken Technical College Earns 2025 PEBA Partner Award

The PEBA Partners award program recognizes employers that set the bar for workplace well-being programs across the state.

The college was recognized with a PEBA Partner Award for 2025 in the Higher Education category. Aiken Tech was also awarded for the Higher Education category in 2023. The college previously received the overall PEBA winner award in 2021, 2022, and 2024. In addition, the college won the Higher Education winner award in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2023.

The PEBA Partner Award is presented annually by the Public Employee Benefit Authority and recognizes employers that demonstrate a commitment to fostering a physically, emotionally, and financially healthier workforce. 

“I'd like to just give special thanks to the HR team for their efforts in achieving this,” Sylvia Byrd, Vice President of Human Resources, said.
