Aiken Technical College employees were recognized as Educators of the Year at the 2026 South Carolina Technical Education Association (SCTEA) Conference. 

Aiken Technical College spread holiday cheer through its Angel Tree and Adopt-A-Family projects, expanding support to 70 students and family members with help from faculty, staff, and the college foundation. The initiatives provided essential items, financial relief, and a strong reminder of the college’s commitment to a caring campus community.

Aiken Technical College alumnus Austen Heider balanced school and a full-time job in an ambulance with his academic and clinical duties. He now has the opportunity to travel and provide paramedicine at various locations nationwide and also acts as an adjunct EMT instructor at the college.

Bill Thomas, an Aiken Tech networking student, wants to thank Metallica from the bottom of his heart. For him, Metallica has opened doors for his future. Thomas is in the Associate in Applied Science Computer Technology: Emphasis in Networking program.

Aiken Technical College dual enrollment graduate Daisy Gonzalez is a soon to be Harvard student.
