Value

Aiken Technical College is a quality, affordable choice for those seeking to get started on their college education. Full-time tuition for Aiken County residents is less than half the cost of tuition at a four-year college. Residents of surrounding counties in South Carolina and Georgia pay only a minimal, additional tuition fee. Financial aid options and scholarships also help reduce the cost of college. Be sure to apply early to maximize your funding, and re-apply every year.

Value at Aiken Technical College means you save more now, accumulate less debt for later, and obtain a great education to start a new career or transfer credits towards a bachelor's degree. Learn how an ATC degree transfers to a four-year degree at South Carolina colleges at www.SCTRAC.org.

Small Class Sizes

College classes can be intimidating for first-time students, especially if you feel like just another face in the crowd. At Aiken Technical College, our small class sizes allow our faculty to get to know each and every one of their students. They know you by name and make themselves available to students in and outside of the classroom. They truly take an interest in your success and helping you achieve your goals — and that can make all the difference as you pursue your degree, diploma, or certificate!

Opportunity

We want you to achieve your full potential in and out of the classroom. Learn in our state-of-the-art facilities with instructors who have years of experience in the field. Gain experiences through simulated labs, off-site partners, and unique competition opportunities. Receive academic support and encouragement through our Academic Success Center. Develop your leadership skills and create life-time friendships through our student organizations and Campus Connections activities.

Make the most of the opportunities available to you and enjoy the ATC experience!

Senior Citizens

Applicants who are at least 60 years of age and legal residents of South Carolina may enroll in classes on a space-available basis without paying tuition. These applicants must meet regular admission requirements, submit an application and pay all applicable fees other than tuition.

Senior citizens who are full-time employees are not eligible for a tuition waiver.

Your future is within reach!
