The Learning Commons has student success coaches who can assist you with career, life, and academic success skills. Coaching helps students gain the skills needed to be successful in and out of the classroom. Student Success Coaches assist all Aiken Tech students, including dual enrollment, apprentices, continuing education, and online students.
Student Success Coaches can help students in the following areas:
Students needing help juggling classes, work, family, and other obligations are encouraged to work with a success coach. Coaches can help students plan out their semester and also keep them motivated and on track throughout.
Coaches assist Aiken Tech students throughout the year by working with technical education students as part of the WORC grant, helping students on academic probation and suspension get back on track, and conducting mid-term outreach campaigns.
Students can make an appointment with a coach by visiting the Learning Commons page on the MyATC Portal or in Blackboard under Learning Commons – Success Services.
